In memory of flamenco legend Paco de Lucía, who died in 2014, Spanish guitar masters Luis Robisco, Alí Arango, and Xavier Coll are joined by Iraqi oud virtuoso Naseer Shamma and percussionist Paquito Escudero in a program that highlights the close historical connection between the music of the Iberian Peninsula and the Arabic world. This concert at the Pierre Boulez Saal marks the first time this extraordinary group of artists will perform together.
