Musician Naseer Shamma and the Global Project Ensemble are set to perform a concert on Thursday (December 13th) at Abu Dhabi's historic fort.
This is a celebration of the inauguration of Al Hosn, which organizes a series of events and art shows over a week from December 7 to December 15, including tours, musical performances and events that welcome the general public free of charge, recounting the history of this ancient cultural destination.
The Global Project’s musicians joining Naseer Shamma are a stellar array of performers from different cultures: Paraguayan harp phenomena Victor Espinola; Multi-award winning Tunisian composer, orchestrator, and musical director Amine Bouhafa who is one of the youngest composers to receive the César Award in France. Brazilian/French percussionist Jorge Bezerra. American Violinist Karen Briggs, American/Armenian master bassist Hova Burian, French percussionist Nicolas Montazaud, and Turkish Clarinet tycoon Serkan Cagri.
